🌼 Wildflowers The park has wonderful wildflowers, especially in March and April. The first mile on the New Almaden trail out of Mockingbird and McAbee entrances are amazing at that time. 🐿️ Mammals Expect to see deer, squirrels, and chipmunks and maybe rabbits and coyotes, but other mammals are hard to spot, with best viewing early and late in the day. 🐦‍⬛ Birds Over 100 bird species have been recorded in the park, from red-tailed hawks soaring the ridgelines to acorn woodpeckers in the oaks. 🪨 Rocks of the park Interactive map showing park trails and rocks with slider and zoom
